The location of the cottage was absolutely mind-blowing! It was super accessible to all the shops and restaurants/cafes, and just a short walk to the promenade. We were able to enjoy breathtaking views of the jaw-dropping Mourne mountains right from our window. Plus, having a hire car made it so easy to explore other amazing places in the area. We couldn't ask for a better basecamp for our adventure-packed trip!

we stayed at causeway cottage in newcastle and had a fantastic time. the location was super convenient, with all the shops, restaurants, and cafes within easy reach. we enjoyed taking short walks to the promenade and marveled at the gorgeous view of the majestic mourne mountains. having a hire car made it a breeze to explore other places in the area. there was even a lydl at the end of the high street for all our shopping needs. the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, providing us with a perfect home away from home.
Nothing negative to say 😊.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a great location. It was a short walk to the promenade and conveniently close to all the shops, restaurants, and cafes. I loved having a Lydl at the end of the high street, making it easy to grab any essentials. The cottage offered a beautiful view of the majestic Mourne mountains, and with a hire car, I was able to explore other places in the area without any hassle. I highly recommend this cozy retreat for a delightful stay.

The location was amazing! It was so convenient to have all the shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. And can we talk about the view? the sight of the breathtaking Mourne mountains right outside our window was simply stunning. Plus, having a hire car made it a breeze to explore the surrounding areas and discover even more hidden gems.
Honestly, we couldn't find a single fault during our time here. Everything was simply perfect and there were no improvements that we felt need to be made.

I absolutely loved the cozy and homely atmosphere of the cottage. The decoration was filled with charming and traditional touches, which made me feel right at home. The general areas, like the garden and terrace, were beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful and relaxing environment. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated how accessible the hotel was for me. The short walk to the promenade allowed me to enjoy the stunning views of the Mourne mountains with ease. having shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby made it convenient for me to explore and indulge in local delights.
If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be for the children working there to provide a bit more assistance and information about activities suitable for senior people.
